With over a decade of experience teaching Years 11 and 12, I am a Mathematics Coordinator at a leading selective independent school and an experienced HSC marker. I studied Mechanical Engineering at The University of Sydney and completed a Master of Teaching, qualifying me to teach a range of subjects across NSW. After seeing the learning gap firsthand, I started my tutoring service to provide clear, expert support that helps students strengthen their understanding, excel academically, and grow a genuine passion for learning.

Cleverminds offers personalised tutoring, homework support and exam preparation for students in Years 7 to 12 across a range of subjects:

• English (Years 7–12; including Advanced and Standard)
• Maths (Years 7–12; including Advanced, Standard 1 and Standard 2)
• Science (Years 7-12; including Physics, Earth and Environmental Science, Chemistry and Biology)
• HSIE (Years 11-12 Legal Studies)

You will need a laptop or computer with an internet connection, audio and a web cam for your online tutoring sessions. Zoom is our preferred communication platform as it allows our tutors to use whiteboards, access resources and work collaboratively across many document and video formats. If you prefer to use alternate video conferencing software please let us know, we can accommodate. We provide everything else. The sessions are always live, in real time and interactive.

You’ll receive an email with a Zoom link before your first session. Simply click the link at the scheduled time to join. You will also be required to complete a short questionnaire prior to checkout to ensure that tutors are fully prepared for your tutoring session.

Yes. Our tutors map all our content to the Australian Curriculum. All content is relevant to your child’s school syllabus and what they’re covering in the classroom.

Yes. At your child's initial tutoring session, the tutor will assess their current skill level and knowledge, identifying both strengths and areas for improvement. Based on this evaluation, we create a personalised learning plan specifically designed to address their needs.
